THETA CHAPTER MINI GRANTS
Instructions for Applying
Delta Kappa Gamma is an international organization dedicated to promoting professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. To aid in this mission, Theta Chapter of DKG has created a mini grant program to benefit the students of Washoe County School District.
Grant applications are open to ALL personnel working directly with students and/or teachers in Washoe County School District. This includes, but is not limited to teachers, library personnel, nurses school psychologists, administrators, food service personnel, etc.
Grant money may be requested in any amount up to a maximum of $500.00. A total of $500.00 may be awarded each school year.
Grant applications must be received by the Grant Committee of Theta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma 45 days before the date for which it is requested.
Grants may be awarded for any of the following educational resources:
Project materials
Guest speakers
Field Trips
Conference registration fees
or to meet other specific student / educational needs
When requesting mini grant money please specify the amount requested, and the date when the money is needed or the event scheduled. Write a brief description of the project/goal and the number of students impacted. Present a written or oral assessment of the activity when it has been concluded.
